The Role

Reporting into the respective Project Manager and/Construction Manager, you will join the ranks of this Tier 1 firm, controlling mid to large scale mechanical services projects, in a role overseeing jobs over $5million in value.

Main tasks of the role would include:

• Plan project “on-site activities” with Project Manager including necessary resources, equipment & project challenges.
• Coordinate agreement between customer’s & external resources make recommendations for construction targets, work plan & site organization.
• Ensure correct handling, storage & installation of equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as shipment logistics to secure timely site delivery of equipment & material.
• Manage sub-contractors & internal installers to ensure accurate completion, quality work, progression & timely completion of work

Requirements

It is preferred that the Site Managers that apply already have mechanical services project experience in Australia. Those with experience overseas must be working to a similar scale and standard, such as in New Zealand or the UK.

You will have handed over multiple mechanical projects during your career, preferably with an upper tier mechanical contractor, with project values of at least $5 million (mechanical package), however, those with smaller scale project experience may also be considered depending on their potential.
